After
leaving college at
North Carolina State
University I took an
assistant Golf
Professional job in
my hometown Sneads
Ferry, North
Carolina. I flailed
around in the golf
business for almost
3 years until I felt
I needed a change. I
decided on San
Diego, California
for a fresh start.
In San Diego I
got my first sales
job at a small
internet company and
realized that, I was
pretty good at this
sales thing.
Somehow from there I
stumbled into a job
selling individual
health insurance for
a company.
I decided instead
of making the
company I work for
all the money I
would start my own
agency and sell
under my name.
That's when I
started

to sell nationwide
individual health
insurance.
I've been
fortunate in the
business and even
more blessed at
home. My wife and I
married in 2002. We
had our first child
in 2003 while still
in San Diego. After
San Diego we gave
the Northwest a try
and lived in
Portland, Oregon for
2 years. There we
had our 2nd child in
2005.
However being a
"southern" boy, my
roots were calling
me. I needed fried
food with gravy on
it and Sweet Tea.
So, we decided on
the Williamson
County area in
Tennessee. That's
just a little south
of Nashville.
We had our 3rd
child in Tennessee
and I told my wife
I'm not moving
anymore because we
have a kid every
time we move.
So now we're a
nice big family of 5
living in Spring
Hill, Tennessee and
loving it. We have a
great church and
great friends and
really enjoy helping
agents thrive in the
insurance business.
